Is there an option to work from home?

Our intern team members work from our office in the city center of Rotterdam. Once you join HousingAnywhere as an intern, you'll be part of a team who will help you develop and fast-track your career. You are at the start of your business experience and only have 6 months to work with your team and make an impact. So it's essential that you learn in the office while working with others, having quick conversations, and being part of our community.

Is the internship period 6-months ?

Usually, it's for 6 months. In the first interview, you can tell us your availability, and we can talk about shortening or extending the internship period.

Does HousingAnywhere help with the visa application?

The visa for an internship needs to meet specific criteria. Unfortunately, HousingAnywhere will not be able to apply for a visa for you.

Will I get a company laptop?

You'll receive a laptop, headset, and mouse throughout the internship.

What does the first week or month look like?

On your first day of onboarding, you will receive the essentials to make you feel part of our community, like a branded hoodie, t-shirt, bag-pack, and work equipment. In your first week, you will receive H.R. onboarding daily to familiarise yourself with HousingAnywhere's mission, values, and practices. During the first 2 weeks, you'll get training for the tasks that you will be performing. You can also check our workshop calendar to see if there are any workshops you might be interested in, like Feedback, Body Language, Burnout & Mental Health. Throughout your time at HousingAnywhere, you will have regular 1-on-1's with your supervisor and experience our transparent culture.

Can I write a thesis at HousingAnywhere?

A thesis is possible in combination with a full-time internship, or with specific work internships, you can work a 4-day workweek instead of a 5-day one.
