Only 5 min. walk from Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and 5 min walk from Friedrichstadt Station (Friedrichstadt S-Bahnhof). Walking distance to Königsallee and Altstadt (Downtown Düsseldorf) is between 15-20 minutes. The metro from Central Station takes you to Heinrich-Heine University in 12 min and the train to FH Düsseldorf University in 5min. University Duisburg-Essen (Campus Duisburg) is reachable by train in 25 min. All in all is the location extremly central and basically everything is reachable in walking distance or a short train/metro/bus ride. A self-service laundry is in 1min walking distance and supermarket, butchery, bakery, liquor stores etc. are all around the block. The largest park of Düsseldorf (Volksgarten) is only 5-10 min walking distance away.
