I'm the second generation of my family in this 1934 built Bauhaus Villa in the middle of an ecological garden about 15 minutes away with public bus ride from city center, in the most respected part of the Buda side, with beautiful panorama of the whole historic heritage o f old Buda part: the King's castle and the Citadella on the Gellért hill. There is mostly no traffic in the small street where you always can find a free parking place for your car free of charge. I am a native of Budapest and enjoy hosting visitors because interesting conversations we have about my country, travelling, politics, and the arts. I have lived in my house since I was born and have resided in the neighborhood longer than any other current resident. I enjoy keeping the house in the form of its original construction and care for my garden using organic methods. I grow many fruits, vegetables, and herbs in my garden including cherries, pears, straw berries,raspberries, figs, walnuts, tomatoes and much more. I like to cook and prepare special meals with my produce, many of my own creation. I am now retired, and I go often to concerts, exhibitions, and cultural, artistic and political events. I love music (jazz, rock, folk, world, classical), literature, history, and I'm interested in technology, sports, science, economics, politics, and the arts. I come from a family of artists and many of their works decorate my home. I like to travel, so I'm not always home. The Balkan countries are my favorite. I wrote a guidebook about Montenegro and have traveled throughout the region for many years. I worked as a tour program organizer for much of my professional life and can give you good suggestions on what to see in Budapest, Hungary, and the entire region. I speak the Hungarian, English, German, Russian and Serbo-Croatian languages. I have hosted hundreds of visitors from all over the world over the last five years.
